This anxious mother canine refused to place her trust in anyone until she was certain her puppies were safe and secure.
Initially mistaken as a stray, it turned out that this dog belonged to someone when the owner emerged to engage in conversation with the rescuers.
However, the owner was unable to provide for the needs of all nine dogs, having the means to care for only one.
