Meet Smokey — a gentle giant whose best friend is a stuffed elephant he’s cherished since puppyhood. From the moment he got it, Smokey treated the toy with incredible care, never tearing or damaging it, always keeping it close by his side — even curling up with it every night.
But life took a painful turn. When Smokey’s owner lost his job, the family faced financial hardship. They moved into a smaller home, but soon even basic needs became impossible to meet. Despite their desperate efforts to find him a new home, no one could take in such a large dog.
