Amazing bond: The unconventional friendship between an ostrich and a baby elephant

Jotto, a young elephant, was left without his mother and has recently formed an unexpected and intimate bond with an ostrich named Pea. They reside at a wildlife rescue center in Kenya.

As per the report by Bored Panda, Jotto, a baby elephant, was left alone by his herd as he got stuck in a swampy mud pit located in a national park in Kenya. However, luck was in his favor as the rescuers from the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an animal protection group, found him and saved him from this unfortunate situation. Upon arriving at the center, Jotto began settling into his new life with ease and even developed a bond with the trust’s team members.

To everyone’s amazement, Jotto, a baby elephant at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, formed an extraordinary connection with Pea, an ostrich rescued by the center in 2014. Despite being of different species, the two animals share a warm relationship and indulge in eating, playing, and sleeping together. It is truly remarkable to see how they have become the best of friends.
